When you do what you love, the magic happens.
Hi there, I’m Dallyn, and I’d like to tell you a little about myself…
I have been a restaurant publicist in the Philadelphia area for over 15 years. I started in the restaurant business right out of high school and studied photography at the Philadelphia College of Art.
My history with restaurants goes way back. My grandmother owned one of the first sub shops in Atlantic City. For as long as I can remember, my grandmother work in restaurants. So, it felt natural for me to follow in her footsteps.
I began my career at Lickety Split, a legendary spot on South Street during Philadelphia’s restaurant renaissance.
I made my way into the entertainment industry, spending several years in radio, artist management, public relations and promotion.
In addition, I worked in interactive media and managed the development of Tylenol’s online media campaigns.
But no matter what I was doing, I always kept up with Philly’s food scene. I loved everything about it!
In 2004, I decided to go back to my restaurant roots…and with that, Dish was born!
Being in the business for a long time, I’ve seen a lot of changes. Most notably, the importance of photography. With Instagram, Facebook and social media in general, photography has become one of the best tools for marketing.
Your restaurant’s social media presence is so important. It connects directly to your customer’s smart phones and drives business. Beautiful photography of your restaurant and menu is the best way to capture their attention and fill your seats.
With Dish PR & Photography, I have blended my passion for food and restaurants, with my love of photography. I hope you’ll join me.
