Dallyn grew up in the restaurant business. Her grandmother opened Peppo’s, one of the first sub shops in Atlantic City. As a young adult, Dallyn began her career at South Street’s Lickety Split, legendary during the 70s restaurant renaissance in Philadelphia.

In the 80s, Dallyn made her way into the entertainment industry, spending several years in radio, artist management, public relations and promotion. Dallyn worked at Philadelphia’s legendary radio stations, WMMR and WYSP. She was part of the management team for The Hooters, Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers, as well as Kiss and Cinderella; She also represented Bonnie Raitt, Glenn Frye, Joe Walsh and Crosby, Stills & Nash as part of national radio promotions for Sony and JVC.

Dallyn’s focus turned toward interactive marketing as the internet exploded in the 90s. As a Senior Project manager, Dallyn was responsible for Tylenol’s interactive media campaign.

Dallyn always kept up with the restaurant scene. She loved the dramatic decor of trendy restaurants and the coziness of small BYOBs. Dallyn realized that promoting bands and records was very similar to promoting chefs and restaurants. And with that, Dish Public Relations was born!
